Another card for the ippity hop

I don't know about y'all, but I'm excited to get the winter release of  ippity stamps. They are soooo cute.
Until I get my hands on them I'll be using the sets I already have. This was the first time using the birdcage stamp. I like it, but I picture it with lots of glitter. I guess I don't know how to use glitter yet cuz mine just didn't turn out. What do y'all do to glitter an image? I used Versamark, but it just didn't hold much glitter.
My SIL is just as crazy about stamping as I am. We talk all the time about styles and products. She turned me on to Spellbinders and I'm so glad she did. I've always liked them, but I didn't know I could use my big shot with them. Guess what? You can use just about any product with the Big Shot. AWESOME!!!!
I'm not thrilled with this card, but it's my first time using the Nestabilities and Cuttlebug so I'm keeping it.
I want y'all to know that you encourage me. I'm always going to your blogs and learning so much. Thank you for sharing part of your life with me. I guess I'll be seeing you on your blogs.

  5. Very cute card! (and your post is darling as well :) as to your question about glitter, really the easiest way is to use stickles...no mess, no adhesive. If you want to use loose glitter, that's a bit more complicated. My favorite way to apply loose glitter is with a "quickie glue pen" and extra fine art glitter, gives you the ability for a very detailed application. When it comes to versamark, you can use it to emboss the image...and there are tons of cute glittered embossing powders on the market!
