Valentine Card for ippity challenge

Today was fun hopping around on ippity blogs. I've noticed that everyone has such a nice, organized blog with lots of bling on them. I've got to figure out how to do that. I'm still trying to figure out how to upload an Unity tag {giggle}.

So, here is my take on a MANLY Valentine card. It just so happens that this Valentine's Day I'll be celebrating 18 years of marriage with my DH. I just don't see how I can be that old. Anyway, this card will be the first one I give to him that's home made. I just hope it's not too "girly" cuz he is a good ole' country boy.

I do have a question for y'all. Where do you find the big pokey things that you stand your card up in to photograph? My barbie one is just not that strong any more, and my DD is wanting it back.......

  1. I really like this card, I think you got the balance just right between manly and sweet! As to the pokey thingy, I was wondering the same thing!

  8. Oh I bet he loved that wonderful card...happy anniversary too! Heehee, that made me smile when you called it that 'pokey thing'...they are called flower frogs...used by florists...I've seen old vintage ones on ebay, but haven't bought one yet...I love how they hold a card too!
P.S. The Unity 'html' code for the blinkie is on the Unity blog, left hand side (above the Twitter updates)....copy and paste that code on your sidebar like you did papertrey...hope this helps!
